About

Gatton Creek Campground sits on the south shore of Lake Quinault next to its namesake creek, a small stream flowing through temperate rainforest. The 5 walk-in tent sites are positioned along the lakeshore with views across the water to the forested slopes of Olympic National Park. A day-use area with 3 picnic units shares the facility. The campground provides access to swimming and non-motorized boating on Lake Quinault. Gatton Creek Trail #888 begins across South Shore Road from the campground. Boat ramps are available at nearby Willaby and Falls Creek campgrounds. This is a primitive facility with vault toilets but no potable water. Sites accommodate up to 8 people and 2 vehicles. The campground is first-come, first-served with no advance reservations. Horses and pack animals are not permitted.
