TRAPPER CREEK CG
Open — The campground is currently open year-round, but accessibility may be limited due to snow during winter months.
About
Trapper Creek Camp Area offers a single campsite nestled in tall timber adjacent to the South Fork Red River. The site includes a camp pad, a toilet, and an information board. The parking area also serves as a snow park during winter months, providing access to groomed snowmobile trails. The campground operates on a Pack It In, Pack It Out policy, as garbage services are not available. Potable water is not provided, so campers should bring their own supply. The area is open year-round, but accessibility may be limited due to snow during winter months. Recreational opportunities include fishing in the nearby river and snowmobiling during the winter season.
Directions
From State Highway 14, turn south onto Red River-Dixie Road #222. Continue past the closed Red River Ranger Station for approximately 4 miles to the camp area on the right.
