About

Red River Campground sits in Idaho's Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests along Forest Road 234, approximately 5 miles west of Red River Hot Springs. This established campground offers a quiet, forested setting for tent campers and small RVs looking to explore the Red River area. Each campsite features a picnic table and metal fire ring. The campground provides vault toilets and potable drinking water via hand pump. There are no hookups, showers, or dump stations. Trash service is not provided, so campers must pack out all garbage. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Winter access depends on snow conditions on Forest Roads 222 and 234. Larger RVs have limited access and should preview the site before entering.
