About

Bridge Creek Campground is a primitive, no-fee campground in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, tucked into tall timber at 4,800 feet elevation. A creek runs through the camping area, adding to the peaceful backcountry atmosphere. Each site features a picnic table and metal fire ring. The campground offers basic amenities including vault toilets, but campers must bring their own drinking water and pack out all trash. Water can be treated or filtered from nearby sources if needed. The area provides access to OHV trail and road riding opportunities. Access is via Red River-Dixie Road #222 from Highway 14, then east on Red River Hot Springs Road #234 for approximately 8 miles. The campground is not recommended for large RVs due to road conditions and site sizes. Horse and pack animals are not permitted at the campground itself.

Directions

From State Highway 14, turn south onto Red River-Dixie Road #222. Follow Road #222 to the Red River Ranger Station junction with Red River Hot Springs Road #234. Turn east on Road #234 and continue approximately 8 miles to the campground, located about one mile west of Red River Hot Springs.
