Bridge Creek Campground is a rustic, no-fee campground located in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests along the Highway 14 corridor. Situated at 4,800 feet elevation in tall timber with Bridge Creek flowing through the area, this primitive campground offers a peaceful backcountry experience. The campground provides dispersed campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and metal fire ring, but amenities are minimal. A vault toilet is available, but there is no potable water, requiring campers to treat or filter water from nearby sources. Garbage services are not provided, so visitors must pack out all trash. The campground is accessible via Red River Hot Springs Road #234 and is located approximately one mile west of Red River Hot Springs. While open year-round, winter access may be restricted due to snow. The site is not recommended for large RVs due to road conditions and limited maneuvering space.

Directions

From State Highway 14, turn south onto Red River-Dixie Road #222. Follow Road #222 to Red River Ranger Station (now closed) and its junction with Red River Hot Springs Road #234. Turn east on Road #234 and continue approximately 8 miles to the campground, which is about one mile west of Red River Hot Springs.
