About
Trail Creek Campground is situated along the banks of Trail Creek on scenic Teton Pass, just 7 miles southeast of Victor, Idaho at an elevation of 6,600 feet. The campground offers 11 sites in an open grassy meadow surrounded by Douglas fir, spruce and aspen trees, with many sites backing directly onto the creek. Summer wildflowers are abundant and wildlife including moose and deer frequent the area.
The campground provides excellent fishing opportunities for Yellowstone cutthroat and brook trout in Trail Creek. Hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding are popular on the nearby Mikesell Canyon Trail, which begins 2 miles north at Mike Harris Campground. The location offers convenient access to Grand Teton National Park's Granite Entrance (20 miles), Jackson, Wyoming (17 miles), and Grand Targhee Resort with its summer activities and music festivals.
All sites are equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, grills and food storage lockers. The campground provides accessible vault toilets, drinking water and trash collection.
