About

Mike Harris Campground is located along scenic Teton Pass, just 5 miles from Victor, Idaho at an elevation of 6,200 feet. The campground contains 12 single-family sites situated near Trail Creek among a forest of Douglas fir and lodgepole pine. Each site features a picnic table, campfire ring, and food storage locker. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. The Mikesell Canyon Trail begins at the campground, providing opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Trail Creek offers fishing for Yellowstone cutthroat and brook trout. Wildlife is abundant in the area, including moose and deer, and summer wildflowers thrive in the forested setting. The campground is conveniently located near popular regional attractions. Grand Targhee Resort is nearby, offering lift-served hiking and mountain biking, scenic lift rides, guided horseback riding, a climbing wall, and an 18-hole disc golf course. Grand Teton National Park's Granite Entrance is 22 miles away, Jackson, Wyoming is 19 miles away, and Yellowstone National Park is within a couple hours drive. The Teton Valley Summer Festival takes place over the Fourth of July in nearby Driggs.
