TouVelle State Recreation Site is a scenic 51-acre day-use park located on the banks of the Rogue River at the foot of the geologically prominent Table Rock formations, about 9 miles north of Medford. This popular recreation site offers diverse activities including picnicking with reservable shelters and group areas, fishing, swimming, and boating with a launch facility. A 2-mile trail provides hiking access through the area. The park sits adjacent to the Denman Wildlife Refuge, making it an excellent location for birding and wildlife viewing, with opportunities to observe both local and migratory bird species. The combination of river access, wildlife habitat, and Table Rock views makes this a valued recreation destination in Jackson County. No overnight camping is permitted at TouVelle. Group picnic shelters and day-use areas can be reserved May through September via the Oregon State Parks reservation system. A day-use parking fee applies year-round. Alcohol requires a special permit.
