About

TouVelle State Recreation Site is a day-use recreation area situated on the banks of the Rogue River near Medford in southern Oregon. This is not a campground; overnight camping is not permitted. The park provides opportunities for picnicking, fishing, boating, and swimming along the river. The site features six group picnic areas, some with shelters and access to electricity and water. Recreational amenities include horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, and a boat ramp with a life jacket loaner station. A designated dog off-leash area is available on the boat ramp side of the park. Adjacent to the park is Denman Wildlife Refuge for wildlife viewing. The main park area operates from 8am to 4pm during winter hours, while the boat ramp side is open sunrise to sunset. A $10 day-use parking fee applies. For camping in this area, visitors should consider nearby Valley of the Rogue State Park, which offers a campground.
