Alcohol Prohibitions

Beaver Sulphur Group Campground offers a secluded setting in the deep shade of a mixed-conifer forest on the banks of Beaver Creek within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. This group-only facility requires renting the entire campground as a single reservation, making it ideal for family reunions, scout troops, or organized group outings. The site accommodates up to 30 people across 10 individual spurs (6 tent-only sites and 4 that can handle small trailers up to 20 feet). The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables at each site, and campfire rings. Campers must bring their own drinking water and pack out all trash as no garbage service is provided. The gate is locked, with the combination provided in your reservation confirmation. Nearby recreation opportunities include hiking trails such as the Mule Mountain Trail and access to Applegate Lake for swimming, boating, and fishing.
Directions
From Jacksonville, OR, travel south 8 miles on Highway 238 to Ruch, OR, and turn left onto Upper Applegate Road (County Road 859). Continue approximately 8.5 miles and turn left onto Forest Road 20. Continue 3 miles to Beaver-Sulphur Campground; the entrance is on the right.
