About

Threehorn Campground is a small, lightly-used primitive campground located near the Rogue-Umpqua Divide in southern Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. Situated at 2,600 feet elevation along the scenic OR-227 corridor between Tiller and Trail, the campground provides a peaceful forested setting beneath an open stand of large ponderosa pine and Douglas fir. The campground features five campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. A vault toilet is provided, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring adequate supplies. There are no garbage services; visitors are required to pack out all trash. The campground operates on a first-come-first-serve basis with fees of $10 per night for a single site and $5 for each additional vehicle. Golden Age/Access Passport holders receive a 50% discount. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed during the day and confined at night. Campfires are permitted in developed fire pits when conditions allow; fireworks and OHV/ATV use are prohibited. Maximum vehicle length is 22 feet, making this campground unsuitable for larger RVs.

Directions

From Canyonville, OR, turn off Southeast Main Street onto Southeast 3rd Street / OR-227. Continue on OR-227 for approximately 36 miles. The campground is on the left side of the road.
