About

Located on the rugged shoreline of the newly restored Klamath River, Topsy Campground provides a quiet location for relaxing camping, picnicking, fishing, and river boating following the removal of J.C. Boyle Dam. The area is set in an open ponderosa pine forest with nearby views of Mount McLoughlin, an icon of the southern Oregon Cascade Mountains. The campground offers 13 first-come, first-served campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and tent pads. Topsy Campground is well situated as a base camp for jeep excursions into the remote Upper Klamath River canyon. It is also a scenic 30-mile drive to the High Lakes region in the Fremont-Winema National Forest. The campground features drinking water, vault restrooms, an RV dump station, and on-site camp hosts during the operating season.
