The campground features 58 sites in a single-loop configuration, including 50 RV sites, 8 double sites, 7 tent-only sites, and 1 group site. A camp host is present during the operating season. The campground provides excellent access to both water and land-based recreation. Lake of the Woods offers fishing for rainbow trout, brown trout, kokanee salmon, bass, and perch. The adjacent day use area provides access to the High Lakes Trail leading to Fish Lake, and boat launch facilities with docks and parking are located between the day use area and campground. The surrounding Fremont-Winema National Forest features towering conifer forests, volcanic landscapes, and proximity to the Sky Lakes Wilderness, which contains over 200 alpine lakes and elevations ranging from 3,800 to 9,495 feet at Mount McLoughlin.
