Tony Grove Guard Station is a historic Forest Service guard station that has been restored and made available for overnight rental through the Recreation.gov reservation system. The cabin is situated in the Bear River Range of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, approximately 19 miles east of Logan, Utah, at an elevation around 8,100 feet. The area is known for its vivid summer wildflowers and excellent trail access. The guard station is part of the Tony Grove Ranger Station Historic District and represents an important piece of Forest Service history in the region. The cabin accommodates up to six people and provides a rustic overnight experience in a mountainous setting near beautiful Tony Grove Lake. Access to Tony Grove is via US-89 in Logan Canyon, with a turnoff at the Tony Grove Guard Station location. From there, a gravel Forest Service road leads to Tony Grove Lake. The area offers year-round recreational opportunities including hiking in summer and winter sports in colder months.

Directions

From Logan, travel east on US-89 for approximately 19 miles to the Tony Grove area in Logan Canyon. The guard station is located near the turnoff for Tony Grove Lake. Follow Forest Service Road 003 as needed.
