About
Lodge Campground offers a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path camping experience in Logan Canyon along the Right Hand Fork of the Logan River at an elevation of 5,600 feet. The campground features 10 single sites nestled in a heavily forested area with dense understory and middlestory vegetation, providing excellent privacy between campsites. The sound of the nearby river creates a tranquil atmosphere throughout the camping area. The location serves as an excellent base for outdoor recreation. Anglers can fish for rainbow and cutthroat trout in the Right Hand Fork of the Logan River. ATV and four-wheel drive enthusiasts will find an extensive network of backcountry roads connecting this area to Cowley and Blacksmith Fork Canyons. A trailhead at the end of the road provides access to the Great Western Trail, which runs from Canada to Mexico, as well as numerous other hiking and mountain biking trails in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The campground is operated by a concessionaire and offers vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. The rustic setting and riverside location make it popular with campers seeking a quieter alternative to more developed campgrounds while still enjoying established facilities.
