About

Tombigbee State Park Campground is located six miles south of Tupelo, Mississippi, offering convenient access to outdoor recreation minutes from the city's shopping and entertainment areas. The park surrounds 90-acre Lake Lee and provides diverse camping options for both RVs and tents. The developed campground features a loop of 20 paved sites suitable for RVs or tents, all equipped with electric and water hookups. Eighteen sites also include sewer connections. Each site comes furnished with a picnic table, grill, and fire ring. The campground has a centrally located bathhouse with hot showers, air conditioning, and heating, plus coin-operated laundry facilities. A dump station is available for campground patrons. For tent campers, the park maintains a primitive camping area with four sites, each featuring a tent platform, fire pit, grill, work table, benches, and wooden hammock stand. Recreation at the park includes fishing on Lake Lee for bass, bream, and catfish, with a boat launch available for trolling-speed-only boating. Two 18-hole disc golf courses wind through wooded hills, an 11-mile mountain bike trail system provides challenging terrain, and nature trails offer peaceful walks. Day-use amenities include 37 picnic sites, two group pavilions overlooking the lake, a playground, sand volleyball court, and multi-use field. The park office serves as a visitor center with meeting room space and handles cabin and campsite reservations.
