The facility is equipped with 8 picnic tables, 1 grill, 4 trash cans, and 2 additional benches, making it suitable for groups and family gatherings.
The pavilion is located along the Tenn-Tom Waterway, a 234-mile man-made waterway that connects the Tennessee River to the Tombigbee River and ultimately the Gulf of Mexico. Whitten recreation area features a boat ramp, historical center, and extensive public lands to explore along the waterway corridor.
