Tenkiller State Park occupies the shores of Lake Tenkiller, a 13,000-acre reservoir in the Ozark foothills of eastern Oklahoma renowned for its unusually clear blue-green water. The park spreads across 10 campgrounds offering a range of camping styles. Primitive tent campgrounds include Bluff View, Eagle Point, and Fisherman's Point, each with basic facilities. RV campers can choose from Blue Jay Knob and Flying Squirrel (30-amp electric and water) or upgrade to Fox Squirrel and Shady Grove for full hookups with 50-amp service. The Fox Squirrel Campground is the most developed, with 52 sites featuring electric, water, and sewer connections. Both pull-through and back-in sites are available throughout the park. Seven comfort stations provide restrooms and hot showers, and two dump stations serve RV campers. Additional amenities include 172 picnic tables, group pavilions, a volleyball court, basketball court, playground, and a seasonal swimming pool with water slide and splash pad. The park also offers 38 cabins and direct access to Lake Tenkiller for swimming, scuba diving, fishing, and boating. The 1.5-mile Tenkiller Multi-Use Trail is paved and ADA accessible. Reservations are required for all RV and tent sites through the Oklahoma State Parks system.

Directions

From Tahlequah, take Highway 82 south approximately 12 miles to Highway 100. Turn west and follow signs to Tenkiller State Park. The park entrance is on Tenkiller Drive off Highway 100.
