About

Telichpah Campground sits along the scenic North Fork St. Joe River within the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, managed by the St. Joe Ranger District. This small, primitive campground features just 5 camp units, making it an ideal destination for those seeking solitude in the forested mountains of northern Idaho. The campground provides vault toilets but has no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. A pack-it-in, pack-it-out refuse policy is in effect. The access road makes trailers not recommended. Sites are available first-come, first-served for $10 per night. Popular activities include fishing on the North Fork St. Joe River and nearby streams, swimming, wildlife viewing, and OHV road riding. The area is frequently used as a base camp for big game and grouse hunting. Horse camping is also permitted.
