Marble Creek Campground is a small, established Forest Service campground in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, located along Marble Creek Road (FR 321) in Shoshone County. With only 2 campsites, this primitive campground offers a quiet, intimate camping experience at 3,578 feet elevation. The campground is accessed by driving 35 miles east of St. Maries on Forest Highway 50 to the Marble Creek Historical Site, then approximately 6 miles south on Forest Road 321. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets and water. Campers can enjoy fishing in Marble Creek and explore the Marble Creek trail system, which features remnants from early 1900s logging operations and good huckleberry picking in season. The area is known for its remote setting and proximity to historical logging sites. This is a tent-oriented campground suitable for those seeking a rustic camping experience.
