About

Te-Ah Campground is perched at 9,200 feet on the Colorado Plateau in the heart of Dixie National Forest's Navajo Lake Basin, approximately 28 miles east of Cedar City, Utah. The campground is nestled within a beautiful aspen forest on the edge of a high mountain meadow, with distant views of Navajo Lake from several sites. The area is popular with touring cyclists who use it as a scenic stopover. The campground provides access to outstanding recreation. The Cascade Falls Trailhead is located within the campground, offering hikers a trail rich with wildlife and vegetation. The 34-mile Virgin River Rim Trail passes nearby, open to hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Navajo Lake offers great canoeing, kayaking, and fishing, with boat rentals and a boat ramp available at nearby Navajo Lake Lodge. Cedar Breaks National Monument is a 20-minute drive away, featuring guided tours and breathtaking scenery. Other nearby attractions include Ice Cave, Mammoth Cave, Duck Creek Pond, and the Ashdown Gorge Wilderness with its ancient bristlecone pines in the Twisted Forest.

From Cedar City, Utah, take Highway 14 east for 25 miles. Turn south on Navajo Lake Road and travel for 7 miles.
