Womack Creek Primitive Campsites are scattered primitive camping locations within the 202,437-acre Tate's Hell State Forest, situated between the Apalachicola and Ochlockonee rivers in Florida's panhandle. The sites are divided across three areas: four sites at Log Cabin Road, one at Loop Road (with boat launch), and one at Nick's Road Landing near creek access. Additional hunt camp sites are available seasonally. This is true primitive camping with no potable water, electricity, or restrooms at the sites. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. The nearest restrooms are within 10 miles at the developed Womack Creek Campground. Campers should bring all drinking water and supplies. The forest offers 35 miles of rivers, streams, and creeks for paddling and fishing, along with hiking on trails that connect to the Florida National Scenic Trail. The area is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail and provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Dirt road access is subject to weather impacts. Hunting is permitted during designated seasons on hunt camp sites.

For Log Cabin sites (23-26): From CR 67, turn onto Short Road for 0.8 miles, then Forest Road 223 for 0.1 miles, then Log Cabin Road. For Nick's Road site (27): From CR 67, take Rock Landing Road east for 2.3 miles, turn left onto Jeff Sanders Road for 1.2 miles, then left onto Nick's Road for 1.7 miles. For Loop Road site (28): From CR 67, take Rock Landing Road east for 2.3 miles, turn left onto Jeff Sanders Road for 2.1 miles, then right onto Forest Road 233 for 0.5 miles.
