About

County Line OHV Campground sits within the 202,437-acre Tate's Hell State Forest in Franklin County, approximately 14 miles north of Carrabelle. The campground serves primarily as a base camp for OHV trail riders, offering direct access to the forest's extensive trail system. An OHV permit is required to ride within the OHV area surrounding the campground. The facility includes three primitive campsites that can accommodate both tents and RVs, with driveway lengths ranging from 72 to 76 feet. Each site is equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. A vault restroom is centrally located within walking distance of all sites. Campers should come prepared with their own water supply, as no water is available at the campground. Tate's Hell State Forest offers diverse ecosystems including wet prairies, flatwoods, and strand swamps. Beyond OHV riding, the forest provides opportunities for fishing, boating, and paddling on 35 miles of rivers, streams, and creeks. The forest is also part of the Florida Scenic Trail and Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail systems.
