About

County Line OHV Campground sits within the 202,000-acre Tate's Hell State Forest in Florida's Franklin County, about 14 miles north of Carrabelle. The campground caters specifically to off-highway vehicle riders, providing direct access to over 150 miles of designated trails open to ATVs, off-highway motorcycles, and recreational off-highway vehicles. A valid OHV permit is required for trail riding. The campground offers three primitive sites that can accommodate both tents and RVs up to 72-76 feet in length. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with a vault restroom centrally located within 25-50 yards of all sites. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility with no potable water, electric hookups, or other developed amenities. Beyond OHV riding, the surrounding state forest offers opportunities for hunting within the Wildlife Management Area, fishing, canoeing, and wildlife viewing. The forest's unique ecosystem includes cypress swamps, pine flatwoods, and titi thickets.
