Swauk Campground
Closed — Closed for the season. Typically operates from late spring through fall, closing when winter snow arrives. During winter, the area functions as a cross-country ski and snowshoe Sno-Park.
Hydrologic Outlook issued April 10 at 4:30PM PDT by NWS Pendleton OR
ESFPDT Moderate rain this weekend in the Washington Cascades and northern Blue Mountains combined with snowmelt from above normal temperatures will lead to river rises this weekend and early next week. Most rivers are currently running at low levels and the increased streamflows will not be a problem. However, the Naches River at Cliffdell and at Naches are expected to rise above Action Stage early Saturday through Monday. The Grande Ronde River at Troy is expected to rise but stay barely below Action Stage Monday through Tuesday morning. Only localized minor flooding is expected. Please monitor the latest river forecasts from the National Weather Service for additional information.
