About

Bridge Creek Group Site sits in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, nestled in a mountainous forest near the confluence of Bridge Creek and Icicle Creek. Located approximately 9 miles from Leavenworth, the campground offers a scenic setting for large gatherings and group camping. The campground features one large group site that can accommodate up to 70 people and 35 vehicles, equipped with picnic tables, a group campfire ring, drinking water, and vault toilets. The adjacent Icicle River provides opportunities for fishing, with populations of rainbow and brown trout, as well as swimming in its cold, refreshing waters. The nearby Fourth of July Trail offers hikers expansive ridgeline views and challenging terrain. Beginning in the forest at 4,000 feet, the trail climbs through mountain meadows with spectacular views of the Stuart Mountain Range and Icicle Valley. At 10.6 miles, it makes a solid day hike, though backpackers can connect to other trails for multi-day trips. The campground sits in diverse terrain ranging from alpine peaks to forested valleys, with elevations across the national forest spanning from 1,000 to over 9,000 feet.
