Woods Ferry River Camp serves as the gateway camp for paddlers embarking on the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail, situated at river mile 158 approximately 10 miles downstream from White Springs. The 4.79-acre facility is accessible exclusively by water, making it an ideal first-night destination for multi-day canoe and kayak expeditions down one of Florida's most scenic blackwater rivers. The camp features five screened sleeping platforms, each accommodating up to eight people and equipped with a ceiling fan, electrical outlet, hammock hooks for three hammocks, and a small table with seating. Every platform includes an outdoor water spigot, dedicated fire ring, and picnic table. Beyond the platforms, primitive tent camping sites are available for those preferring traditional camping. Facilities include flush restrooms with hot showers, grills, and a covered picnic pavilion. The camp operates year-round with no overnight fees, though reservations are required through Florida State Parks. Since no vehicle access exists, paddlers should coordinate with local outfitters if gear shuttling is needed.

Woods Ferry River Camp is accessible only by water. The most common launch point is White Springs, approximately 10 miles upstream. Paddlers put in at the boat ramp in White Springs and travel downstream to reach the camp at river mile 158.
