Adams Tract River Camp sits at river mile 85.5 on the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail, a few miles upriver from Troy Spring State Park within Suwannee River Water Management District land. This paddle-in camp is one of five river camps spaced about a day's paddle apart along the trail, designed to provide comfortable overnight accommodations for paddlers exploring the blackwater Suwannee. The camp features five screened sleeping platforms, each sleeping up to eight people and equipped with ceiling fans, electrical outlets, hammock hooks for at least three hammocks, and a small bench and table. Outside each platform sits a water spigot with potable water, a fire ring, and a picnic table. The camp also includes a bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers, an outdoor kitchen sink with dish soap, a picnic pavilion with grills, and primitive tent camping areas. Wheelbarrows are available to transport gear from the river. Surrounding longleaf pine forest offers hiking trails, and the open treeless areas provide excellent stargazing with minimal light pollution. The Adams Tract is part of the Troy Springs Wildlife Management Area; scheduled hunting occurs on the surrounding property at certain times of year but does not affect the camp itself.

Adams Tract River Camp is accessible by water only at river mile 85.5 on the Suwannee River. Paddlers typically launch from public boat ramps along the river, such as those at Suwannee River State Park upstream or Branford approximately 9.3 river miles downstream.
