Susquehanna State Park campground occupies a wooded setting in Harford County along Maryland's lower Susquehanna River. The campground is organized into two loops, Acorn and Beechnut, containing a combined 69 campsites. Eight sites offer 30-amp electric hookups while 56 remain non-electric, all accommodating tents and smaller RVs. Six mini-cabins provide a roofed alternative. Each loop has its own comfort station with hot showers and flush toilets, and a dump station serves RV campers. The surrounding 2,753-acre park features 15 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The Susquehanna River and Deer Creek provide fishing, kayaking, and canoeing opportunities with a boat launch on site. Historic attractions include the Rock Run Grist Mill, the Steppingstone Museum complex, and the Stafford Flint Furnace. The park also contains the Carter-Archer Mansion and Jersey Toll House. Pets are allowed throughout the campground and cabins but must remain leashed. The campground operates seasonally from mid-April through late October, with reservations available up to 365 days in advance through Maryland's park reservation system.

From I-95, take Exit 89 (MD Route 155) west toward Bel Air. Turn right onto MD Route 161 (Rock Run Road) and follow signs to the park entrance at 4122 Wilkinson Road, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
