About
Sublett Campground offers a remote camping experience in the Sublett Division of Sawtooth National Forest, situated just two miles from Sublett Reservoir. The campground provides 9 individual sites that can collectively accommodate up to 40 visitors. Each site includes a table and grill, with vault toilets available on-site. A nearby boat ramp provides access to the reservoir for fishing and boating. This is a primitive, no-fee campground operating on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation system. Campers must bring their own drinking water as none is available on-site, and all trash must be packed out. The campground is accessible for RVs and trailers, though specific size limitations are not published. Livestock facilities are available nearby, but horses are prohibited within the campground itself. The typical operating season runs from June through November, depending on weather and road conditions. A 14-day camping limit applies within any 28-day period, after which campers must leave National Forest lands for at least 14 days before returning. Vehicle parking is limited to two vehicles per site on designated gravel spurs.
