About
Sublett Campground is a developed campground located two miles from Sublett Reservoir in the Sublett Division of Sawtooth National Forest. This non-fee, non-reservation campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is composed of 9 individual units that can accommodate up to 40 visitors. The campground is typically accessible from June through November, with the season varying based on weather and road conditions. Campground amenities include vault toilets, 9 tables and grills, RV sites suitable for trailers, livestock facilities, and nearby boat ramp access at Sublett Reservoir. Each site can accommodate up to 2 vehicles, which must be parked on the gravel spurs provided. Horses are not allowed within the campground itself, though pack animals are permitted in the surrounding area. This is a pack in/pack out area with no trash services, and potable water is not available on-site. The campground is well suited for both tent and trailer camping and serves as a base for exploring the Sublett Division's 90,000 acres of sagebrush and grass terrain. A 14-day camping limit applies within any 28-day period, after which campers must move off National Forest lands for a minimum of 14 days. Access is via Interstate 84 exit 245, traveling east 13 miles on Sublett Road around the north end of Sublett Reservoir.
