About
Pipeline Campground sits on the banks of the Snake River just below the American Falls Reservoir Dam in Power County, Idaho. Managed by the BLM Upper Snake Field Office, this free recreation area provides 6 semi-developed campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation system in place. The campground caters to anglers and boaters with a boat ramp and docks providing direct access to the Snake River. Each site area includes picnic tables and fire rings, while a vault toilet serves the campground. Horseshoe pits offer additional recreation. Campers should come prepared to be self-sufficient as there is no potable water, and all trash must be packed out. The site is easily accessible from American Falls, approximately 3 miles west off Neeley Road. A 14-day stay limit applies. This is a solid option for those seeking free riverside camping with boat launch access in southeast Idaho.
Directions
From American Falls, travel approximately 3 miles west off Neeley Road. Turn right at the Pipeline Recreation Area sign.
