About

Mill Flat Campground is a developed no-fee campground composed of 7 individual sites located in an open canyon setting within the Sawtooth National Forest's Minidoka Ranger District. The campground is well suited for both trailer and tent camping, with gravel parking spurs that accommodate up to 2 vehicles per site. Vault toilets are provided, but campers must bring their own water as no potable water is available on-site. The campground is situated along a stream where visitors can fish for trout, and an extensive trail system provides opportunities to explore the surrounding mountains canyon by canyon. Mountain biking, OHV trail riding, day hiking, and backpacking are popular activities. The area serves as a picnic area as well as a camping destination. No reservations are required or accepted at this first-come, first-served campground. Camping is limited to 14 days within a 28-day period under Special Order 0414-01-028. Horses are not allowed in the campground, and all vehicles must be parked on the provided gravel spurs to avoid blocking traffic.
