About

The Grant Family Shelter is a reservable picnic shelter situated near the beach at Stonelick State Park in Pleasant Plain, Ohio. This facility offers covered space with tables, grills, and electrical hookups, making it an excellent choice for family reunions, celebrations, or group picnics. The shelter's location provides convenient access to the park's 500-foot swimming beach on the 200-acre Stonelick Lake. Stonelick State Park spans 1,058 acres of rolling highlands in southwest Ohio, offering a peaceful retreat with stately woodlands and still waters. The park features over 100 campsites, four hiking trails totaling about 7 miles through beech, maple, and sweet gum forests, and a variety of recreational activities including fishing, boating (electric motors only), and winter activities like ice fishing and cross-country skiing when conditions permit. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and welcomes leashed pets throughout the facility except on the sand beach. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, disc golf, and exploring the natural beauty of this historic Clermont County location, which offers a quieter alternative to larger, more crowded state parks in the region.
