* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following counties, in southeast Indiana, Ohio and Switzerland, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown, Clermont, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Pickaway, Pike, Ross and Scioto. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and embedded thunderstorms will continue into tonight. One inch of rain is expected area wide with locally heavy rainfall possibly resulting in up to 3 inches in spots. This heavier rain could lead to flash flooding.
About
Stonelick State Park Campground is located within a 1,258-acre park in Clermont County, about 30 miles east of Cincinnati. The campground wraps around 200-acre Stonelick Lake, which is limited to electric motors only, making it a quiet destination for fishing and paddling. With 115 campsites, 109 of which have electric hookups, the campground caters to both tent campers and RV users. A handful of premium sites offer views overlooking the lake. One camper cabin is also available for rent. The campground features modern amenities including flush restrooms, hot showers, a dump station, and laundry facilities. A camp store provides basic supplies. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Potable water is available during the peak season from April through October. The park welcomes leashed pets throughout, except on the beach sand area. Beyond camping, visitors can swim at the sandy beach, fish for largemouth bass and channel catfish, or explore the Red Fox and Southwoods trails. A disc golf course and mountain bike trails add variety. The park's naturalist programs run seasonally. Reservations are made through ReserveOhio.com or by calling the state parks reservation line.
Directions
From Cincinnati, take I-275 to Exit 63 (State Route 32 East). Follow SR 32 east for approximately 8 miles, then turn left onto Lake Drive. The park entrance is about 1 mile on the right.
