East Fork State Park Campground is one of the largest campgrounds in Ohio's state park system, featuring 416 sites nestled in a wooded setting along the north side of East Fork Lake. Located in Clermont County's scenic hill country just 25 miles from Cincinnati, the campground serves as a base for exploring nearly 5,000 acres of diverse terrain including rugged hills, meadows, and the sprawling 2,160-acre reservoir. The campground offers a range of site options with 384 electric-only sites and select full hookup sites with water and sewer. All sites feature paved or gravel pads suitable for RVs and trailers. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water throughout the campground, and a dump station. A camp store operates seasonally near the office area. Campers enjoy exclusive access to a beach area within the campground, and two host sites provide on-site assistance. Recreational opportunities abound with 82 miles of hiking trails including the 37-mile Steven Newman Worldwalker Perimeter Trail and a 12-mile backpack trail with primitive camping options. The park maintains 55 miles of bridle trails and a separate 17-site horsemen's camp. Water activities include unlimited horsepower boating with six launch ramps, a 1,200-foot public swimming beach, and excellent fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish, and hybrid striped bass. A 5-mile mountain bike trail and various shorter nature trails provide additional options for exploration.

Directions

From Cincinnati: Take I-275 East to Exit 63 (State Route 32 East towards Batavia) for campground access. Campground is located at 2837 Old State Route 32, Batavia. From Columbus: Take I-71 South to I-275 East at Cincinnati, then follow I-275 East to Exit 63 and proceed east following signs.
