* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following counties, in southeast Indiana, Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Hamilton, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Warren. * WHEN...Until 5 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional rounds of showers, along with embedded thunderstorms will continue to move through the region tonight. Several locations have already received 1.5" to 2.0" of rain through the evening hours. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2.0" are possible overnight, which could result in areas of high water and localized flash flooding.

The Dance Pavilion at Cowan Lake State Park is a covered day-use shelter situated near the public beach on the south side of the 700-acre lake. The pavilion features electric service and charcoal grills, making it suitable for group gatherings, picnics, family reunions, and community events with capacity for approximately 75 guests. This is a day-use facility only; overnight camping is not permitted at the Dance Pavilion. For overnight accommodations, visitors should look to the nearby Cowan Lake Campground or Cowan Lake Cabins within the state park. The pavilion operates as a Carry In, Carry Out facility with no trash cans provided. A seasonal portable toilet is available in the parking lot from April through October, and flush restrooms are located at the adjacent public beach.
