Cowan Lake State Park Campground is set within the 1,775-acre park in Clinton County, Ohio, surrounding a scenic 700-acre lake with wooded shoreline and peaceful inlets. The campground offers 254 sites including 237 electric sites, 17 primitive non-electric sites, and four ADA-accessible sites. Full hookup sites with electric and sewer are also available. Amenities include two shower houses with flush toilets, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Potable water is available at the check-in station and Shower House 1. The camp store offers camping supplies, bait, snacks, hand-dipped ice cream, a grill, and seasonal bike and kayak rentals. Each site is equipped with a fire ring, and campfires are permitted only within fire rings. Recreation options abound with swimming at the camper beach, fishing, sailing, and kayaking on the lake which permits boats up to 10 horsepower. The park also features hiking trails through mature woodlands, archery, and disc golf.
