Stokes State Forest Campground sits within one of New Jersey's largest state forests, spanning over 16,000 acres of forested ridges in the Kittatinny Mountains. The campground system includes multiple distinct areas: the main family campground with 90 tent and trailer sites, Steam Mill Camping Area with 27 sites, Lake Ocquittunk with 26 sites and 10 cabins, and Shotwell with 27 sites plus 9 lean-tos. The 10 group sites at Haskins accommodate parties from 10 to 65 people. Every site comes with a fire ring and picnic table. Flush toilets and hot showers are available at certain locations while others have pit toilets.
