Dingmans Campground

About

Dingmans Campground occupies 65 acres along the banks of the Delaware River within Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The campground offers a variety of camping experiences across 134 sites: forested tent sites surrounded by mature trees, premium riverside tent sites directly on the river (tent-only, no vehicles), and RV sites with 20/30/50 AMP electric and water hookups. All RV sites are back-in only with no pull-throughs available. Facilities include two ADA-accessible bathhouses featuring free hot showers, porta-potties throughout the property, and centrally located dump stations near each bathhouse. The on-site general store stocks camping essentials, snacks, souvenirs, and firewood (delivered to your site). WiFi is available only at the general store; cell service is unreliable throughout the campground. The campground serves as a basecamp for exploring the recreation area, with direct access to the 32-mile McDade Trail for hiking and biking, a boat launch for paddling the Delaware River, and proximity to Dingmans Falls and other waterfalls. Alcohol and generators are prohibited. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed at all times.

From Milford, PA, follow US-209 South approximately 8 miles. Continue straight at the traffic light at PA-739. The campground entrance is approximately 1 mile on the left. From I-80 in East Stroudsburg, follow US-209 North for approximately 23 miles. The campground entrance is on the right before the traffic light at US-209 North and PA-739.
