Open — Open year-round with reservations available up to 12 months in advance. Full services including showers and water operate April through October. During off-season months November through March, potable water is available from the spigot near the park office.

About

Stockton State Park campground sits on the shores of Stockton Lake in Cedar County, Missouri, within the scenic Ozark Mountains. The park offers 14 basic campsites and 60 electric campsites, including some with 50-amp service and five ADA-accessible sites. Five walk-in tent sites are located between 426 and 646 feet from their parking area. Family campsites provide extra space for larger groups. The campground features modern restrooms, hot showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Full services are available April through October, while off-season campers can access potable water from a spigot near the park office. The 2,716-acre park overlooks Stockton Lake and offers sailing, swimming at a sand beach, two boat launches, a full-service marina, hiking and mountain biking trails, and excellent fishing opportunities. The surrounding landscape showcases rolling prairie hills and forests of oak, hickory, dogwood, red cedar, and redbud. The campgrounds are fully reservable year-round up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks system. Camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-consecutive-day period. Pets are welcome on leashes up to 10 feet, with a recommendation of no more than two dogs per site.

Directions

From Stockton, Missouri, take Highway 39 South for 0.8 miles to State Highway RB. Turn left onto State Highway RB and follow for 0.5 miles. Turn right and continue straight another 0.1 miles into the park.
