Stockton State Park Shelter
The shelters are available for day-use reservation. Reservations can be made online 30 days to 12 months in advance, or by calling the park for same-month bookings.
About
Stockton State Park's reservable shelters provide covered outdoor spaces for group gatherings on the shores of Stockton Lake. The North Shelter, a reproduction of 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps architecture, overlooks the lake and accommodates up to 100 guests. It features electrical outlets, picnic tables, an outdoor grill, water access, and proximity to restrooms and a children's playground. The South Shelter sits near the marina boat launch and accommodates up to 50 people. It includes picnic tables, an outdoor grill, restroom access, and boat slip access for those arriving by water. Both shelters rent for $50 per day. These are day-use facilities for picnics, reunions, and group events. They do not include overnight camping accommodations. Visitors seeking overnight stays should look at the park's separate campground offerings, which include basic sites, electric sites, and walk-in tent sites.
