About

Cedar Ridge occupies a scenic hillside position above Stockton Lake, one of Missouri's premier sailing and fishing destinations with nearly 300 miles of shoreline. The campground offers 54 sites spread across Loops A, B, and T, with many sites featuring 30-amp electric hookups and 12 designated tent-only walk-to sites. Full shade coverage is available at most sites, with gravel driveways accommodating RVs up to 45-60 feet. The lake supports excellent fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, walleye, catfish, and sunfish. An accessible fishing dock provides free year-round access. Two boat ramps serve the campground, though the north ramp is restricted to registered campers during peak season (April 16 through September 30). The swimming beach operates from May 15 through September 15. Surrounding lands feature hundreds of acres of native prairie grasses, rolling hills, and hardwood forests that turn crimson in autumn. Wildlife includes wild turkey, great blue heron, deer, and bald eagles. The lake hosts an annual eagle-watching event each winter. Three full-service marinas around the lake offer boat rentals, fuel, fishing tackle, and restaurants.
