About

Cedar Ridge is located on Stockton Lake in the scenic Ozark Mountains of southwestern Missouri, offering access to nearly 300 miles of shoreline. The campground features 54 campsites, with 12 designated tent-only sites and many sites offering electric hookups. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and a dump station. The campground provides two boat ramps for lake access, though the north ramp is restricted to registered campers during peak season (April 16-September 30). A swimming beach and accessible fishing dock are available on-site. Stockton Lake is renowned for sailing, hosting several races annually, and offers excellent fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, walleye, catfish, and sunfish. The surrounding landscape features hundreds of acres of native prairie grasses, rolling hills, and forests that turn vibrant crimson in autumn. Wildlife is abundant, including wild turkey, great blue herons, deer, and bald eagles. The area hosts an annual eagle-watching event each winter, making it a premier destination for birders and nature enthusiasts.

Directions

From Bona, Missouri, take Highway 245 north for 0.5 miles to RA Highway. Turn left (north) on RA Highway and continue for 0.7 miles to the park.
