Ruark Bluff West is a well-established Army Corps of Engineers campground perched on a bluff overlooking Stockton Lake in the scenic Ozark Mountains of southwestern Missouri. The campground features 74 campsites spread across a shady, forested setting, with many sites offering lake frontage views. Approximately 48 sites have 30-amp electric hookups, while 26 sites are non-electric for tent camping or self-contained RVs. The facility includes modern amenities such as flush toilets, hot showers, potable water spigots, and a dump station. Each campsite is equipped with a fire ring and picnic table on a paved or gravel pad. Sites accommodate up to 40-foot vehicles with back-in configurations. A boat ramp and beach area are located just outside the campground entrance. Stockton Lake spans over 24,000 acres with nearly 300 miles of shoreline, offering exceptional fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, white bass, walleye, and catfish. Sailing is particularly popular, with the lake hosting several regattas throughout the season. Wildlife viewing opportunities abound, with bald eagles, wild turkeys, great blue herons, and white-tailed deer commonly spotted around the lake.

From Greenfield, Missouri, take State Highway H north for 6.4 miles and turn left on the park access road. Follow signs into the park area.
