About

Stockton State Park Campground occupies a prime location on the peninsula between the Big and Little Sac arms of Stockton Lake, one of Missouri's premier sailing and fishing destinations. The park's clear waters attract scuba divers, water skiers, and anglers pursuing bass, crappie, walleye, and catfish. Two campground areas serve visitors: the West Campground offers basic, electric, family, and walk-in tent sites, while the East Campground provides electric and family sites along with additional amenities including an amphitheater. Both campgrounds operate year-round, though showers and water systems are available only from April 1 through October 31. During the off-season, potable water is available near the park office. The East Campground features a dump station, and 50-amp electric hookups are available at select sites. Five campsites throughout the park are accessible for visitors with disabilities. The marina provides a camp store with supplies, boat rentals including pontoons and kayaks, 320 boat slips, and two boat ramps. Campers can explore hiking and mountain biking trails, enjoy the swimming beach, or relax at one of three playgrounds. The park permits up to two leashed dogs per campsite. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks reservation system, with walk-up registration available for unreserved sites.
