Stennis East Bank Day Use

Closed — Open year-round with park hours from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. This is a day-use area only; overnight camping is not permitted.

About

Stennis East Bank Day Use is located in Columbus, Mississippi on Columbus Lake along the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. The area features one shelter at the boat ramp location and three shelters inside the park that can be rented for gatherings. Each shelter provides water, electricity, and picnic tables. The park includes a boat ramp, three fishing piers, a fish cleaning station, multi-use courts, a walking track, play areas, and an amphitheater. The day-use area offers excellent views of the Stennis Lock and Dam, opportunities to observe migratory birds, and popular fishing spots known for large catfish. A vehicle overlook provides scenic sunset views. The Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway provides year-round fishing, boating, waterskiing, and swimming opportunities. Hunting is available on Corps of Engineers land throughout the waterway corridor.
