About

Ste Marie Park sits in a forested setting along the Arkansas River by Pool 3 Lock and Dam, offering day-use recreation facilities for groups and families. The park features two reservable group picnic shelters with electricity, each capable of hosting up to 75 people, making it well-suited for reunions, company picnics, and large gatherings. Amenities include grills at each shelter, potable drinking water, a playground for children, and both a courtesy dock and dedicated fishing dock. The park is especially popular among anglers. Excellent catfish fishing can be found in the tail-waters of Joe Hardin Lock and Dam, as well as Emmitt Sanders Lock and Dam at the upstream end of Pool 3. Bass, crappie, and bream are also commonly caught. Duck hunting is available on nearby waterways, and hunting opportunities exist in surrounding forests. Located just north of Pine Bluff off Louis L. Ramsay Road, the park provides easy access to local attractions including the Arkansas Railroad Museum, Pine Bluff Regional Park, and the Martha Mitchell Home. The area sits at 193 feet elevation with generally mild winters and hot, humid summers reaching the upper 90s.

Directions

From Pine Bluff, follow the Martha Mitchell Expressway onto U.S. Highway 63N/79N. Turn left onto Louis L. Ramsay Road. Continue on St. Marie Park Road into the facility.
