About

Sainte Marie Park is located along the Arkansas River by Pool 3 Lock and Dam, providing access to Lake Langhofer and excellent fishing opportunities. The park is popular among anglers targeting catfish in the tail-waters of Joe Hardin Lock and Dam and Emmitt Sanders Lock and Dam, as well as bass, crappie, and bream throughout the pool. The forested park features two reservable group picnic shelters that can each accommodate up to 75 people, along with grills, a courtesy dock, fishing dock, playground, and drinking water. The park serves as a day-use recreation area with boating access and is surrounded by scenic riverfront forest close to the rolling cotton fields of southeastern Arkansas. Hunting is available in nearby forests, and waterfowl hunting is popular on the waterways. Red fox are frequently seen, and numerous waterfowl species inhabit the area. The facility is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is located just north of Pine Bluff, providing convenient access to urban amenities while offering quality outdoor recreation along the Arkansas River.

Directions
