About

Station Creek Group Campground is a reservation-only group facility located in the scenic Snake River Canyon along the designated Wild and Scenic Snake River, roughly 24 miles southwest of Jackson in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The campground offers two spacious group sites, each accommodating up to 40 people, making it an ideal choice for family reunions, scout troops, or large camping parties. Each site is equipped with multiple picnic and serving tables, campfire circles, grills, and bear-proof food storage lockers. Vault toilets and drinking water via hand pump are provided. The campground has dirt parking areas with a maximum vehicle length of 20 feet, so large RVs are not accommodated. Firewood is available for purchase on-site. The Snake River provides excellent opportunities for fly-fishing targeting cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout, as well as whitewater rafting and kayaking. River permits are required for groups over 15 people and for institutional groups floating between Hoback Junction and Alpine. Nearby hiking trails offer access to the surrounding mountains.
