About
Little Cottonwood Group Campground offers an exclusive group camping experience in the beautiful Snake River Canyon, just 30 miles southwest of Jackson, Wyoming. Situated at 5,700 feet elevation, this single-site campground accommodates up to 40 people and is ideal for family reunions or organizational groups seeking a private riverside setting. The thickly wooded campground is set in a forest of pine and aspen trees that provide partial shade and overlook the Snake River below. The site features a campfire circle, picnic tables, and food storage lockers. Summer wildflowers are abundant, and views of the canyon walls and wildlife are excellent from the campground. The adjacent Snake River offers world-class fly fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout, as well as popular whitewater rafting and kayaking opportunities. A boat ramp is located nearby. The campground's location provides easy access to Jackson, approximately 25 miles north, and Grand Teton National Park, about 40 miles away.

From Jackson, travel south on Highway 191/89/26 for about 13 miles to Hoback Junction. Turn right on Highway 26/89 and continue along Snake River Canyon for 17 miles. The campground is on the south side of the road.
