Paris Mountain State Park Campground, located near Greenville, South Carolina, offers a serene retreat with a variety of camping options. The campground features 39 paved sites equipped with water and 30-amp electrical hookups, accommodating tents, trailers, and RVs up to 40 feet. Thirteen of these sites include tent pads, and each site is furnished with a picnic table and fire ring. Additionally, there are five primitive trailside campsites around the North Lake Trail Loop for those seeking a more rustic experience. Campground amenities include restrooms with hot showers, a dump station, and a camp store. The park's 1,540 acres encompass two lakes—Lake Placid and Reservoir #3—offering opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Canoe and kayak rentals are available on weekends. The park also boasts a network of hiking and biking trails, though mountain biking is restricted on Saturdays. Pets are welcome in most outdoor areas, provided they are kept on a leash no longer than six feet. The park's rich history is highlighted by structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression, adding a historical dimension to the natural beauty of the area.
