Lake Warren State Park Campground is located in South Carolina's Lowcountry, offering primitive camping experiences in Hampton County. The park centers around the 200-acre Lake George Warren, which provides excellent freshwater fishing for catfish, bream, and bass, along with boating opportunities accessible via two boat ramps. For those seeking a quieter experience, a separate two-acre fishing pond is available. The campground is primarily designed for primitive camping, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in nature within the park's floodplain forest and extensive wetlands. The park boasts four species of pines and diverse wildlife habitats. Beyond camping, visitors can explore nature trails including a fitness trail, enjoy picnic facilities and shelters, and take advantage of fishing boat and gear rentals. Jon boats equipped with electric trolling motors are available for rent. The park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the park office available from 11 a.m. to noon.
