Silver Lake Pavilion is a day-use picnic shelter located at the Silver Lake Recreation Area within the Croom Tract of Withlacoochee State Forest in Hernando County, Florida. This is not an overnight campground but rather a covered pavilion available for rental by groups seeking a scenic outdoor gathering space. The pavilion provides seating for up to 36 people with maximum capacity reaching 60 guests. The facility is situated along Silver Lake, which is part of the Withlacoochee River system designated as Outstanding Florida Waters. The surrounding Silver Lake Recreation Area offers access to boat ramps, hiking trails, and the nearby Withlacoochee State Trail. The day-use area includes restroom facilities and picnic amenities. The pavilion operates year-round from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and must be vacated by 7:30 p.m. Rental is approximately $19 per day plus a $2 per person day-use fee. Alcohol is prohibited, but leashed pets are welcome. This facility does not permit overnight camping.

Located at 31475 Silver Lake Rd, Brooksville, FL 34602. Enter through the Silver Lake gatehouse. The recreation area is a short 5-mile drive from I-75 in Hernando County.
