About

Tucker Hill Pavilion is a day-use rental facility situated within the Withlacoochee State Forest in Hernando County, Florida. The covered 30x40 foot pavilion can accommodate groups of up to 54 people and is equipped with nine 6-foot picnic tables, a double grill, electric lighting, and nearby restrooms. A gravel parking area provides convenient access. The pavilion sits near the Tucker Hill Day Use Area, which serves as a trailhead for the surrounding network of multi-use trails popular with hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. The area is located along Croom Road near the Florida Division of Forestry fire tower. This facility is for day-use only and does not offer overnight camping. Reservations are required and can be made through the Florida State Forests reservation system. Day use entrance fees apply in addition to the pavilion rental fee.
