Tucker Hill Pavilion is a day-use pavilion rental facility situated within the Withlacoochee State Forest in Hernando County, Florida. The 30x40 foot covered pavilion can accommodate groups of 1 to 54 people and features 9 six-foot picnic tables, a double grill, lighting, and a gravel parking area. Restroom facilities are available on-site. The pavilion serves as a gateway to extensive recreational opportunities in the Withlacoochee State Forest, including hiking trails marked with 2x6 inch blazes in yellow, orange, and blue; equestrian trails marked with 6-inch bands; and mountain biking trails marked with 4-inch colored circles. The area also offers primitive camping, wildlife viewing, photography, and hunting opportunities. Nearby attractions include Weeki Wachee Springs, the Withlacoochee State Trail, and various nature preserves. Reservations are available up to 11 months in advance through the Florida State Forests reservation system. A day-use entrance fee of $2 per person is required, or visitors can purchase an annual pass for $45. Leashed pets are permitted with proof of rabies vaccination. Groups of 6 or more require a State Forest Use Permit.

Directions

From I-75: Take Exit 301 for SR-50/US Hwy 98 S and head east. Turn left onto Croom Rital Road north for approximately 5 miles, then continue west on Croom Road for approximately 4.5 miles. The pavilion parking entrance is on the left/south side of Croom Road.
