About
Siloam Springs State Park sits on 3,323 acres of rolling, wooded terrain in Adams County, minutes east of Quincy. The park features two main campground areas: Oakridge and Hickory Hills, together offering 86 Class A sites with electricity and vehicular access, plus 18 Class B sites with electric hookups. A centrally located shower facility serves all campers. For backcountry enthusiasts, four hike-in backpack sites provide a more primitive experience. Equestrian campers have access to three horse-ride/hike-in sites with water and electricity, connecting to 14 miles of equestrian trails through scenic ridgetops and wooded valleys. A group campground accommodates larger parties. The park's lake supports fishing, non-motorized boating, and SCUBA diving, though no boat rentals are currently available due to lack of a concessionaire. The park offers an archery range, geocaching opportunities, and extensive hiking trails through native vegetation. Hunting is permitted in designated areas during appropriate seasons. Reservations are handled through the ExploreMoreIL system.
