Sibley State Park Group Center offers a semi-secluded retreat for large groups in west-central Minnesota. The facility sits in a private area off the road toward Mount Tom, featuring seven barracks that each sleep 14 people in twin beds, plus a split-level staff quarters house with four bedrooms, living area, and three bathrooms. The mess hall contains a commercial kitchen with dual ovens, six-burner stove, griddle, walk-in cooler/freezer, dishwasher, and cookware for 105. Outdoor amenities include a fire ring, grill, picnic tables, and volleyball court. Separate men's and women's bathroom/shower buildings serve the facility. The center operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Groups must reserve by calling the park directly at 320-347-7810; the facility is not available through the standard Minnesota state park online reservation system. Check-in is between 4 and 5 p.m. with checkout at 11 a.m. following a park inspection around 10 a.m. Only service animals are permitted; other pets are not allowed. RVs are not generally accommodated at this facility.
